Jacob Cunningham, a third grader from Memorial Elementary, was honored as the MVP for his age group after training at the prestigious Real Madrid Academy in Spain, where he impressed coaches with his soccer skills. His week included practicing at elite facilities, touring Madrid, attending a Real Madrid match, and earning a full scholarship to the summer training camp in Pittsburgh.

The Bethel Park School District has received three significant awards for excellence in communication in the 2024 PenSPRA Excellence in Education Communication Contest, which highlights school districts from across the commonwealth for their digital and print communication.

In March, Bethel Park High School inducted its Alumni Hall of Fame Class of 2025, honoring five distinguished graduates whose accomplishments have significantly impacted their fields and communities.

This year's Bethel Park school picnic at Kennywood Park will be on Friday, June 20, 2025. Tickets are available for as low as $31.99 if purchased by June 6.

Kindergarten registration for the Bethel Park School District is now open online at www.bpsd.org, where parents can complete the enrollment process from home. Required documents include proof of age, proof of residency, and completed health forms. Children must be five years old by September 1 to enroll.

The Bethel Park Operations Team ensures the district’s schools remain safe and functional, handling snow removal, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical maintenance. This 12-person team, including several Bethel Park graduates, takes pride in their problem-solving skills and proactive approach to maintaining facilities and supporting school events.

Bethel Park School District unveiled new renderings of its upcoming elementary school, a 280,000-square-foot facility under construction on the Neil Armstrong Middle School campus. Designed to accommodate up to 1,800 students, the state-of-the-art building will feature modern learning spaces, enhanced security, and a national park-themed design to foster an engaging educational environment.

Bethel Park Schools will transition to remote instruction on Tuesday, January 21, and Wednesday, January 22, due to the bitter cold temperatures.

All Bethel Park School District after-school activities, including athletics, performance practices, and any community events scheduled to use district facilities, are canceled.
