The Bethel Park Board of School Directors held its annual reorganization meeting in early December, appointing new officers and welcoming a new board member for the coming year.
Buffie Faes was named school board president, and Christina Headley was elected vice president. The board also welcomed newly elected member Colleen Sokira, along with recently re-elected members Faes, Headley and Sharon Janosik. All were officially sworn in by the Honorable Ron Arnoni.
During the meeting, the board announced a return to holding its regular meetings on the third and fourth Tuesdays of most months, moving away from the previous schedule of the second and third Tuesdays.
The re-seated board also reappointed Weiss Burkardt Kramer, LLC, as the district’s solicitor and announced its preliminary 2026 meeting calendar, which remains subject to change.

All school board meetings begin at 7 p.m. and are held at the Dr. Thomas A. Knight Memorial Community Room in the Bethel Park Administration Building unless otherwise noted. All school board meetings are live-streamed through the school district’s YouTube channel. Meeting dates and times are also available on the school district’s website.
